Veronica and Cyrus’s colorful Fig House wedding in Highland Park felt joyful from the moment you walked into the space! The Fig House already has such a vibrant personality, but their vision brought even more life to it. Colorful florals, mirrored disco balls, metallic accents, and playful design details filled the venue in a way that felt stylish but completely relaxed, just like them.
Veronica and Cyrus are the kind of couple who make everything feel easy and welcoming, and their wedding carried that same energy all day long. Their celebration blended romance, creativity, and a little retro beauty. The result was a wedding that felt personal, lively, and full of character. From the ceremony in the lush courtyard to the disco-inspired reception details, every part of the day reflected their laid-back personalities and love for fun design!

Veronica and Cyrus planned a wedding that felt intentional but never overly formal. Their goal wasn’t perfection, it was creating a day where they could relax, laugh, and celebrate with the people they love most. That easygoing energy shaped everything about their celebration, from the ceremony to the reception and every moment in between.
Their ceremony took place in the Fig House courtyard surrounded by greenery and warm Southern California light. Guests gathered beneath string lights while vibrant florals framed the altar space. Veronica looked stunning in her long-sleeved lace gown and veil, while Cyrus’s rust-colored suit added warmth and personality to the color palette of the day. The entire ceremony felt heartfelt and intimate, filled with those little glances and smiles that say more than words ever could!

One of the most fun elements of the day was the subtle disco-inspired design woven throughout the celebration. Veronica and Cyrus incorporated mirrored disco balls and metallic accents into the décor in a way that felt playful but still elegant. As the light shifted throughout the day, tiny reflections sparkled across tables and florals, adding a sense of movement and energy to the space.
The florals were vibrant and full of texture, with reds, pinks, and peach tones that complemented the Fig House’s bold interior palette perfectly. Retro-inspired signage and fonts added a vintage feel to the stationery, and the Lambeth-style heart cake with cherries brought in a nostalgic touch that guests absolutely loved. Every detail felt thoughtful, colorful, and just a little bit whimsical!

One of the best parts about getting married at the Fig House is how many beautiful portrait locations are nearby. Veronica and Cyrus were able to take advantage of both the venue itself and the surrounding Highland Park neighborhood for their couple portraits. The Fig House gardens, textured walls, and greenery already provide stunning backdrops, making it easy to capture romantic portraits without leaving the property.
But Highland Park also offers so many unique options for couples who want a little variety in their photos. The streets nearby have beautiful architecture and quiet corners perfect for relaxed portraits. York Boulevard murals bring bold color and personality, Arroyo Seco Park offers open greenery, and the nearby Pasadena bridges provide dramatic architectural backdrops. Even the classic Craftsman homes throughout the neighborhood add a timeless Southern California feel to wedding portraits.

If you’re planning your own colorful Fig House wedding in Highland Park, this venue truly offers one of the most vibrant and creative spaces to celebrate. Between the bold architecture, lush gardens, and surrounding neighborhood full of character, it’s a place where couples can create a wedding that feels completely their own.
